Signalling & Telecom Works At Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

The installation of complete signalling system related to Computer based interlocking for the prestigious project of Delhi metro rail corporation, both for rail corridor and metro corridor including the rolling stock feeder depots for rail corridor and metro corridor was completed by McML well before the dead line set by the DMRC. Furthermore, McML had extended maintenance support.

McML has worked in Line Nos. 1 & 2 with M/s Alstom Projects India Ltd, Line No. 3 with M/s Siemens India and presently working for Line Nos. 5 & 6 with M/s Bombardier Transportation India.

McML – ECI Joint Venture is currently executing a turn-key project for Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) worth INR. 1000 Million. This work of “Construction of Roadbed, Station buildings, Staff Quarters, Major & Minor Bridges, Track Linking (including supply of ballast & installation of track), Signalling & Telecommunication (including modification), Railway Electrification and General Electrical Work in connection with laying of Third Line between Jakhapura – Haridaspur (a stretch of 25.0 Km) on Khurda Road Division of Eacst Coast Railway in Orissa State, India”.

Computer Based Interlocking In Main Line Railways

McML has successfully commissioned the first WESTRACE (Computer based interlocking) at Mahalimarup station of South Eastern Railway in Indian Railways in a record time.

Subsequently McML has successfully installed and commissioned the WESTRACE Solid State Interlocking (SSI) equipments at the following stations:

• 4 Stations in Allahabad Division of North Central Railway (total 171 routes)
• 4 More Stations in Allahabad Division of North Central Railway (total 147 routes)
• Krishna Canal in South Central Railway (8 Roads with 209 routes)
• Navalur - Mugad Stations in South Western Railway (total 54 routes)
• Unkal – Amargol Stations in South Western Railway (total 57 routes)
• Karchana – Meja Road in North Central Railway (total 72 routes)
• New Crossing Station between Hubli and Kundgol Stations in South Western Railway (23 routes)

• Manikpur Station in North Central Railway
• Naini Station in North Central Railway
• Zonal Training School, Tiruchhirappali in Southern Railway

Route Relay Interlocking

McML has commissioned number of Route Relay Interlockings (RRIs) since inception. To name a few the following RRI works have been commissioned by McML:

• Mazgaon Yard in Mumbai Division of Central Railway (263 Routes)
• Kanpur Central Station in Allahabad Division of North Central Railway
• Chhapra Junction in Varanasi Division of North Eastern Railway
• Sini Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway
• Rourkela in Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway
• Korukkupet in Chennai Division of Southern Railway
• Miraj Junction in Pune Division of Central Railway

Automatic Signalling

McML has successfully commissioned the following Automatic Signalling works:

• Pattabhiram – Tiruvallur Section in Chennai Division of Southern Railway (16.72 Kms)
• Tondiarpet – Ennore Section in Chennai Division of Southern Railway (10.80 Kms)
• Vaniyambadi – Jolarpet Section in Southern Railway (15.45 Kms)
• Vadodara – Palej Section in Vadodara Division of Western Railway (44.90 Kms)

Block Proving By Axle Counter (BPAC)
